Job Description

  • Off Broadway Apartments is hiring an Administrator for a salaried position.

    The Administrator acts as a representative for the facility, overseeing the daily administration of programs, services, and financial operations. Their role includes planning, developing, implementing, evaluating, and enhancing program services, managing staff, and providing top-notch services in line with the Board of Directors' expectations, residents, and their families. Ensuring compliance with State and Federal Regulations and standards in the Assisted Living Industry is also part of their responsibilities. They supervise the provision of resident care that upholds dignity, independence, self-determination, privacy, and safety.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in the Human Services, Healthcare, or Community Services field is essential, along with strong interpersonal skills to effectively connect with individuals. This role demands significant judgment, initiative, and leadership abilities.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of Nebraska Assisted Living Regulations and various governing agencies. (i.e. OSHA, Fire Marshall, NE DHHS, etc.)
    • Solid organizational and time-management abilities, computer proficiency, familiarity with office protocols, and outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong employee management skills.
    • A valid and unrestricted Assisted Living Administrator or Nursing Home Administrator License, or the potential to finish the Nebraska Assisted Living Administrator Training within six months of being hired, is mandatory.
    • A valid Medication Aide certification or the capacity to finish the necessary training within 6 months of being hired.
    • The candidate should showcase expertise in elder care, support services, and other available services across the care spectrum, such as Assisted Living. Additionally, they need to establish and maintain relationships with other service providers.
    • The ability to connect with seniors in a compassionate and effective manner is crucial in helping them lead an active, secure, and fulfilling life during their stay at the facility.
