In our desire to be the very best charter school in Utah County, Merit Academy provides an outstanding educational experience designed to instill excellence, build a love of learning and service, and create principled leaders, who will engage in real-world challenges and opportunities. According to Harvard Business Review, Inspiring Innovation is a challenge among business executives. We feel this also applies to schools. In larger schools. where there is a higher population of students, innovation is harder to support and encourage. Merit Academy has a small town feel with more one-on-one coaching with mentors and greater opportunity for creativity and innovation. Merit Employee uses project-based learning and other evidence-based instructional strategies to help us meet our mission and vision. We have a strong culture of professional development and openly work to take our teaching and mentoring to new levels. We all need to be celebrated and acknowledged for our efforts. Teenage years are tough and our kids need more support than ever. Merit Academy is constantly developing new ways to celebrate our student's successes to show them they are a valued member of our school.
