Welcome To

Hart Advertising

Hart Advertising, Inc. is a family-owned, outdoor advertising company with over one thousand "faces" located in the Vacationland area of North Central Ohio between Cleveland and Toledo. We specialize in award-winning artwork created in-house to serve our local and regional clients' needs. We are dedicated to our customers and have a total commitment to creativity. Hart Advertising, Inc. began in 1943 with William T. Hart. He started with only 100 signs. Over the next 30 years, Mr. Hart bought over 10 companies, including the Advertiser and Carter Christy, to expand into what is now the core of the business which includes over a thousand signs. In the early 1980's, expansion by acquisition was augmented by the gradual conversion of old wooden frame structures into modern single pole steel structures with lighting. Hart still holds some of the original artwork created for its first customers. Tools and lettering for creating billboards are still located in our production facilities. These are some examples of early artwork dating from the 1940's to the present. These pictures will change monthly, so be sure to stop back as we take you through our advertising history. We are proud of our history and hope you enjoy learning about it as much as we enjoy "advertising" it!
