DOZIER'S GROCERY & MARKET
Back in the 1950s, Ed Dozier had been cookin up his own barbeque for quite some time. Ed knew he had somethin special. So in 1957, Ed opened Doziers Grocery & Market in Fulshear, Texas, just west of Houston, and set about making the tastiest barbeque around. Word spread like wildfire and folks began hightailin it to Fulshear. Doziers soon became the place to get barbeque.
And it still is. Locals, city folks, passersby, celebrities, politicians, and sports figures visit us. Out-of-the-way trips are not uncommon just for a taste of our Texas barbeque. Weve made a barbeque for some very well-known people. Heck, weve even had a song written about us!
Things havent changed much around here. We still use Ed Doziers original recipes. Customers still come from miles around. Were still in the same place. If it aint broke, we dont fix it is our motto at Doziers. When ya got somethin that good, why change it?
