The Chamber of Commerce is committed to supporting the vibrant Kearney community. Our strategic location within the Kansas City metropolitan area has catalyzed unprecedented growth, fostering a robust local economy. Notably, Kearney ranked as the third fastest-growing community in the state during the 1991-2000 period, as reported by the U.S. Census Bureau. In response to this growth, our school district has embarked on a comprehensive expansion plan, constructing new buildings and renovating existing structures to accommodate the increasing student enrollment. Furthermore, business owners have recognized the potential of our community, leading to the establishment of new shopping centers, restaurants, and other small businesses. These developments have contributed to the growth of our Chamber membership.
