The Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) assists Californians with disabilities to obtain and retain employment and maximize their ability to live independently. Vocational rehabilitation teams work closely with job seekers to establish the best combination of services and resources necessary to prepare for, find, retain, and advance in employment. Our services are tailored to each individuals strengths and challenges to ensure the greatest chance of success.

If you are a person with a disability, the Department of Rehabilitation can assist you to fulfill your employment goals and achieve independence. The DOR administers the largest vocational rehabilitation program in the country, delivering services from over 80 locations throughout California to increase the quality and quantity of employment outcomes for people with a full range of physical and mental disabilities.
