Our Local Food Bank for families in need, Located at the United Methodist Church on Church Street in Phoenicia, the Phoenicia Food Pantry (formerly known as “Shandaken Food Pantry”), has been helping local families for many years. Now, they need your help – please donate whatever you can.  You may also make a Donation at Ulster Savings Bank 58 Main Street Phoenicia NY 12464,  to the “Phoenicia Food Pantry.”

The Food Pantry was founded in the 1980s. It is operated solely by volunteers & donations. The Pantry is open to Shandaken Residents on Thursdays between 10 am – 12 pm, and by appointment. No one is refused service. Its mission states that we are aware that persons need to eat ‘365 days a year.’
