Purchasing your Home

Several standard forms are used when you buy your new home. These include the Purchase Agreement and several addendums. The Purchase Agreement and all addendums are subject to Crowne Communities management approval. All forms and attachments must be signed by all parties involved.

Purchase Agreement
The Purchase Agreement is a legal document that represents your decision to purchase a home. It contains a description of your proposed new construction, approximate square footage of living space, Lot number and Subdivision name, financing information and many other provisions generally found in a Real Estate Purchase Agreement. Our contract is different from the typical contract used to purchase existing re-sale homes since our contract pertains to new construction. Several addendums are typically attached to the purchase agreement and can vary based on the community. The list below applies to all of our Purchase Agreements. Many of the addendums become a part of the purchase agreement later in the process.

Addenda
Description of Materials: Lists materials to be used in the construction of your home. Depending upon the community, this list will be attached to your lot reservation agreement or the purchase agreement.

Site Entry Restriction Agreement: Advises you of our policy regarding entering the construction site.

Interior/Exterior Selection Information: Summarizes the process in making your selections.

Specification Package: Lists the colors, materials and options you have chosen for your new home, the price of each, and acts as a receipt for your options payment. Change Orders: Document to complete any modifications you request during the construction of your home.
