Barrier Removal Program

The Sacramento Kindness Campaign is a barrier removal program designed to create a more inclusive and equitable city. The program works to remove physical, financial, and social barriers that prevent people from participating in the life of the city. Through this program, we aim to foster an environment of kindness and acceptance by providing access to resources such as job training, housing assistance, transportation services, education programs, health care services, and recreational activities. We also work with local businesses to promote diversity and inclusion in their hiring practices. Additionally, we provide free or low-cost events throughout the year that bring people together from different backgrounds and cultures. Our goal is to create an environment where everyone can feel safe and accepted, regardless of their background or identity.
