Mt. Zion Grade School

Mt. Zion Grade School serves the Village of Mt. Zion and its surrounding areas, providing education for students in grades PreK-1 and 2-3. Located nine miles southeast of Decatur, this facility caters to a population of approximately 5,000 within the village and over 14,000 in the district's 68 square miles. Known for its strong focus on foundational skills in reading, language arts, math, science, and social studies, Mt. Zion Grade School also integrates technology into its curriculum with 52 computers available in classrooms and offices, along with wireless 24-laptop portable labs. All-day and half-day kindergarten options are available to meet diverse family needs.
