White House Hotel 1868
The White House Hotel, built in 1868, has been restored to its 1886 setting. With 150+ years of fascinating history, the hotel boasts a wide variety of stories, artifacts, and rooms, including a saloon, a speakeasy, a well, and a grand ballroom. Exploring the hotel is truly a journey back in time. There are very few remaining post-Civil War U.S. hotels in America, and this magnificent Federal-style example gives us a glimpse back into the grand Victorian era.
The White House Hotel is now an active tour site and overnight stay experience. The owners are dedicated to preserving the rich heritage and history of the grand ol hotel. Wild Boar Creek Farm
We offer several packages that include pheasant and quail. Guided and unguided services are available. Please call for pricing. If you schedule a hunt during a weekend, food will be available. However, for an additional fee, a more elaborate meal can be provided such as Wild Boar Creek's famous rib-eye steaks. If you wish to hunt pheasant, it is advised to keep your group to a maximum of 8 hunters. If you wish to hunt quail, the recommended maximum is 6 hunters. If your group is larger than the recommended maximum, we are able to accommodate by dividing up the hunters into smaller groups to hunt in separate areas for safety purposes.
Anyone hunting at Wild Boar Creek must bring the following items: blaze orange hat or cap, blaze orange hunting coat or vest, personal shotgun, and shells, as well as any other normal hunting apparel and footwear. For the safety of all hunters enjoying Wild Boar Creek, please refrain from drinking alcohol before your arrival or during your hunt. There is plenty of time to party after the hunt is over.
