Ye Olde Catholic Thrift Shoppe

Difficult times require difficult decisions. We were able to open the store on Thursday, June 4, 2020. Our hours of operation are 10:00 AM 2:00 PM. We will increase those hours as soon as we can. The reopening must be done in the safest possible manner. Please be aware that the majority of our volunteer workers are 70+ years of age. Our established health safety rules for all customers are: Face coverings required, temperature check upon entrance, and hands sanitized. 20 customers are allowed in the store at one time and no children will be permitted in the store. We are taking donations during the hours that we are open. However, due to the virus, we will quarantine all donations for a 3 day period before processing them. We will not be able to handle large donations nor do pickups. Thank you for your patience and best of health to you and yours. Ye Olde Catholic Thrift Shoppe

Yin on Fire

Healing and celebratory gatherings have been observed throughout various periods in history. In numerous respects, contemporary society has forsaken the customs that fostered connections with oneself, others, and the collective energy derived from elevated celebrations. Each of us is a distinct creation, having inherited characteristics and traumas from preceding generations that require resolution. Regrettably, we often reside in an energy fueled by fear, rather than embracing the infinitely superior energy of love—love for ourselves, others, creation, life, and the divine essence. Embracing this love becomes an integral part of our journey towards healing. We, who have conceived, organized, supported, and participated in Yin On Fire, share a likeness with you. Though our individual paths are unique, they are laden with similar emotions and experiences, including pain, happiness, sorrow, joy, failure, success, and much more. Throughout our respective journeys, we have both been harmed and caused harm to others. We are all traversing a path of learning, integration, and striving towards our highest selves. The current third-dimensional existence characterized by division, competition, greed, power, control, and other base energies is undergoing transformation for many. We express gratitude for this shift and sincerely extend an invitation to more individuals to join us in the pursuit of healing, forgiveness, letting go, and the exploration of true spiritual freedom. Yin On Fire has been established to facilitate the movement of energy within ourselves and propel us closer to our authentic divine nature. Our aim is to cleanse and heal from the past, carrying with us the knowledge and personal transformations that our life journeys have bestowed upon us. It would be a great honor to have you accompany us on this journey of love, compassion, respect, connection, and celebration of life! Come, participate, and share in the highest expressions of your feminine and masculine energies!

Youth Futures

Youth Futures opened Utahs first homeless Residential Support Temporary Youth Shelter on February 20, 2015, with 14 temporary overnight shelter beds located in the heart of downtown Ogden. Our shelter and drop-in services are available to all youth ages 12-17, and we will not exclude any youth who falls within these age ranges, regardless of circumstance. Intensive case management helps youth reunite with family or become self-sufficient, contributing members of our community. Weekly outreach efforts assist in building rapport with street youth, ensuring they receive food and other basic necessities, and educating them about options for living in unsafe conditions. Youth are guided in a loving, supportive, and productive way, encouraging their own personal path for a healthy future.
