We recognize that the fight against hunger necessitates a collaborative effort, and as such, we work tirelessly in conjunction with community partners and a devoted cadre of volunteers to make a profound impact. Our collective efforts culminated in the distribution of an impressive 56.1 million meals last year through a comprehensive statewide network of 230 partner agencies spread across all 29 counties of Utah.
Distinguishing ourselves as one of the few food banks that provide food free of charge to our partner agencies, we also extend our reach to the most vulnerable segments of our population—children and seniors. Our suite of direct service programs, in tandem with our emergency food assistance services, bolsters our ability to positively affect the lives of Utahns who grapple with the harsh reality of food insecurity. Utah Food Bank's affiliation with Feeding America, the nation's leading domestic hunger-relief organization, further underscores our commitment to the cause. We are proud to be Utah's sole representative in this nationwide network of over 200 food banks, reinforcing our position at the forefront of the battle against hunger.

We at Red Acre Farm, in the pastoral Cedar Valley and the beautiful red dirt of southern Utah, are dedicated to promoting and modeling the small family farm by growing natural foods that sustain our land, our neighbors, and our souls.
As a small farm, we have the advantage of growing produce for exceptional qualities of aroma, flavor, color, and texture. Varieties of produce grown for supermarkets are selected for their bondability, shipping ability, and extended shelf life.
We promote a healthy farm organism through composting, cover crops, crop rotation, and compost teas. We never use herbicides, pesticides, or commercial fertilizer. By utilizing these methods, we can produce food superior to those labeled as Certified Organic because of recent changes that allow a certain percentage of non-organic substances to be added in the process of growing certified organic food. With less confidence in food labeled organic, consumers have even more responsibility to know where, when, and how their food has produced a feat made much easier by personally knowing the grower!
Our chickens are happy! They free-range and are fed a custom blend of whole and fresh-cracked 6-grain with no animal by-products. We never give them antibiotics or hormones. Their eggs are fertile, and they drink from untreated well water. This fresh, active diet is not only better for the chickens its better for you.
