The Eagle Mountain Nature and Wildlife Alliance

We are a charitable and educational nonprofit organization under IRS section 501(c)(3). We meet with landowners, developers, city staff, and local, state, and national elected officials to establish relationships of trust between landowners, developers, and the Eagle Mountain City staff and elected officials. We then propose solutions to all parties that will provide native habitat and migration corridors for wildlife that currently or historically have used the area. Those solutions may include compatible secondary uses in non-sensitive areas. We raise funds to assist with land preservation, habitat restoration, and facilitating wildlife movement to minimize or prevent negative human-wildlife interactions. We work with potential developers and local planning and zoning commissions to provide input into projects or proposals that could have an impact on natural vegetation or wildlife to protect the interests of the natural environment balanced with the development needs and business interests of the developers and citizens. We also provide educational and community engagement activities to inform citizens of the natural history of the area, provide opportunities for service such as habitat restoration or cleanup, and provide instruction to potential developers.

The Lake Mountain Bicycle Club (LMBC) was founded in 2020 in Eagle Mountain, UT. We wanted to create an organized structure and supportive environment for people to learn, progress, and enjoy riding bikes together—specifically mountain bikes. Initially occupying 3,500 square feet, the pantry has now grown to an expansive 12,000 square feet. Located in American Fork, Utah, Tabitha's Way extends its food assistance program to cater to the food-insecure population across North Utah County, ensuring access to nutritious meals from Lindon to Cedar Fort. The pantry operates with a dedicated team and volunteers, committed to creating a caring and supportive environment for those seeking assistance. With a deep sense of compassion, Tabitha's Way Local Food Pantry North County strives to combat hunger and food insecurity in the community. Their mission is to ensure that nobody in their vicinity goes without access to essential food resources. The cities of American Fork, Pleasant Grove, Lehi, Eagle Mountain, and Highland have agreed to participate in a reciprocal borrowing system that will allow library cardholders to check out materials from all five libraries.Library borrowers are encouraged to search for needed materials at their home library before searching the other libraries’ online catalogs. Each library will continue to function as it currently does in terms of policies, budget, administration, non-resident fees, etc. * Eagle Mountain Library is the only fine free library in the area.
