When you come in you will find Fiction, including Mysteries, Thrillers, Suspense, Action/Adventure, Historical, Sci-fi, and Westerns. There is Non-Fiction that covers a variety of topics, Rentals of the latest bestsellers and popular series, Audiobooks, Large Print, Special Orders, Stonehenge Greeting Cards, Gift Certificates, and a variety of local artists works for gifting. In-store you will also find over 700 Puzzles on a very popular rental program. Additionally we host a very unique Book club thats great fun.

With the idea being to garner a sense of community, Quail Run Books is the place to shop and mingle over a love of good books and puzzles, too. Refreshments and a lovely seating area add to welcoming atmosphere.
A trade-for-credit policy is incorporated, so you never know what you'll discover on a day-to-day basis. Please bring us your books, we are always looking to add to our shelves the books that you love to read. And puzzle! We have over 700 in-store and available for rent. It's a great program!
What started as a dream of his wife's, Duane saw a great chance to retire from software development. Come check out his handywork as he has been building and painting all the shelves and countertop at the store. From a small town in Iowa, Strawberry Point, Duane and his wife met at the local museum where they both volunteered. Relocating to Green Valley in the summer of 2020, they enjoy the peace and beauty of the area.
