Douglas W. Hedger, Municipal Court Judge

Douglas Hedger was elected city of Henderson Municipal Court Judge, Department 2, in April 2003 and re-elected in April 2009 and April 2015. Judge Hedger was elected as Chief Judge in February 2004 and again in January 2006. His daily court calendars include criminal arraignments, criminal trials, in-custody arraignments, adult traffic arraignments, and traffic trials.

Judge Hedger graduated from Arizona State University College of Law in 1990 after earning a bachelors degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University in 1987. Judge Hedger is a current member of the Clark County, Nevada State, and American Bar Associations; the Nevada Judges of Limited Jurisdiction, and American Judges Associations. In addition, Judge Hedger serves as an instructor for the National Drug Court Institute.
