About American Staffing
American Staffing (once known as American Temporary Services) was started in August 1980 in Meridian, Idaho as a Permanent Employment Agency by Melinda Madsen (a.k.a. Ms. Ethics to her associates).
We opened in a small one-room office with Melinda and a part-time receptionist. Melinda did all the interviewing, screening, testing, reference checking, outside sales, bookkeeping, referrals, etc. After two years, we dropped the Permanent Agency and dedicated ourselves to Temporary Services. Because we have placed such importance on ethics and integrity in the business, we have grown to be the largest privately owned Temporary Service in the State of Idaho, and possibly the Northwest.
Offices of American Staffing are now located in Meridian, Boise-Meridian (West Valley), Fruitland, Burley, Idaho Falls, and Twin Falls Idaho; and Elko Nevada. We service ve states. Today we have nearly 40 full-time staff employees and occasionally we utilize temporary employees during our peak seasons. Everyone on the staff of American Staffing is at the disposal of both the clients and the temporary employees to place qualified people for either short term or long term assignments with our clients.
