Pittsburgh Regional Transit, situated at 345 Sixth Avenue, Ste. 3, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, stands as a beacon of transportation excellence with a dedicated team of 2,600 professionals. Our commitment extends beyond operating and maintaining bus, light rail, incline, and paratransit services, facilitating over 60 million rides annually. Rooted in a vision to be the region's transportation mode of choice, we aspire to deliver an innovative, clean, sustainable, and equitable network that empowers individuals, businesses, and economies to thrive. Our mission is clear: to advance the region by investing in communities and connecting people in a safe, equitable, and reliable manner. Building on a transformative history that dates back to the consolidation of 33 private transit carriers in 1959, we have recently embraced a new identity, transitioning from Port Authority to Pittsburgh Regional Transit in June 2022. This rebranding symbolizes our commitment to adaptability, ensuring our services remain at the forefront of meeting the evolving needs of our dynamic community.
