Silver Valley Economic Development Corporation (SVEDC) is operated exclusively for the promotion of economic development in the scenic north Idaho region situated along the Coeur d'Alene River system. The region includes the communities of Mullan, Wallace, Osburn, Kellogg, Wardner, Smelterville and Pinehurst.

Our priority and focus are to create living wage job opportunities and growing the tax base by helping our local primary industry employers grow, assisting relocating businesses, and start-ups; improving the quality of life and standard of living for the people of the Silver Valley.

The mission of the Silver Valley Economic Development Corporation (SVEDC) is to promote economic development in the Silver Valley. Our goal is to improve the economic quality of life and the standard of living for the people of the Silver Valley. At present, our major focus is to grow job opportunities from within our geographical region and local primary industry employers, but at the same time pursue potential external recruitment opportunities that might emerge.
