Started between friends and SC-natives Valery Taylor Smith and Levi Wright, State of the Art Gallery and Pottery Studio houses art made by all South Carolina-based artists in a gallery (led by Valery), as well as a pottery studio (led by Levi).
Located in Cayce, South Carolina, State of the Art is all about local art. Part gallery, part artisanal shop, part pottery studio, State of the Art focuses on connecting community with art.
At the State of the Art, it is believed that art is something to be shared, something to be accessible for everyone. Art is meant to provide connections, stories, experiences.
