About Come Ride With Us
As a non-profit organization, Come Ride with Us relies upon your charitable donations to provide bikes to local area children at Christmas. Any amount is greatly appreciated and will help us in our mission to bring smiles to childrens faces. We use safe and secure PayPal Payment
In 2014 the vision of Claudia Price and Susan Becker from Keller Williams Signature of raising funds to buy and donate 20 bikes to local area children for Christmas grew to a goal of 200 bikes. They never imagined that this goal was going to be far exceeded.
In 2015 as the team of volunteers grew challenges arose. At this time John Bird, General Manager from World of Beer stepped in and became an integral member of the program with his fundraising skills. With John Bird, Tap it and Run, Gotta Run, Greater Houston Houses Team, and others, the team was able to keep the donations moving forward.
2016 and 2017 wre very successful. In 2018 Susan and Marty Becker and John Bird created Come Ride with Us, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization and within 2 weeks were able to raise funds for an additional 63 bikes.
Our mission has just begun. As John Bird said, I still vividly remember the joy and happiness I felt when I got my very first bike, This quote serves as a reminder to Come Ride With Us and its members what the true meaning of our mission is, to bring the joy of a new bike to a child.
