I paint because it lends my imagination to canvas. I like color and making colors blend into bright images. My Puerto Rico childhood has influenced me as well as my teenage years in northern California. I have spent most of my adult life in Northern Nevada. My paintings include tropical themes, hills with trees, big skies, colorful buildings, and geometric designs. Most of all I want to recreate the mood that is in my mind and put it on canvas. Most of my art is done with acrylics. I have traveled to many tropical locations influencing my themes. I try to create some of those places in my paintings. Each painting has its own heart and soul. It flows from my mind onto the canvas. I use a lot of color and many times I like paintings with colors that do not match reality, like red trees and swirls of color in the skies. I hope you enjoy a little bit of what my mind wants to share with you.
