Dunia Marketplace

Dunia Fair Trade Marketplace (formerly Ten Thousand Villages) is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide vital, fair income to disadvantaged people from developing countries, local refugee groups, and local non-profit groups, by marketing their handicrafts and telling their stories in North America. The income artisans receive helps pay for food, education, health care, and housing. We tell artisan stories to help those who hear us understand how their purchases and consumption habits impact those living in Idaho and developing countries. The organization has a full-time store director, a half-time assistant manager, a working board of directors, and over 40 active volunteers.
