About Our Neighborhood Homework House
Much more than an after-school program, the Homework House is bringing hope and encouragement to the children of Azusa. How? By providing welcoming, safe havens where children from kindergarten through high school are encouraged to reach for their dreams and are equipped with the tools to realize them. We accomplish this by investing in each child through one-on-one tutoring, enrichment activities, and building lasting mentoring relationships that span their childhood and teen years.
Our approach to meeting the needs of the community is to actually move into targeted low-income neighborhoods to not only help students get the tools they need for better academic achievement but equip their families to provide the motivation for higher achievement through Homework House's Parent Resource Center and partnering as an advocate at the children's schools.
