About Solvang Friendship House
Surrounded by the natural beauty of the environment, our neighborhood is comprised of single-story, cottage-style homes located on a quiet cul de sac nestled in the rolling hills of Santa Ynez Valley, providing Assisted Living Alzheimers and Dementia Care, Caregiver Support Services, Life Enrichment Day Program and Overnight Respite Care.
Our staff has many years of experience in Alzheimer's and dementia care and we provide continuity of care by having the same care partners care for the same residents daily. We place a premium on active listening and observing so we can adapt to each residents changing needs, this keeps each person at the center of our care planning, taking into account their unique qualities, abilities, interests, preferences, and needs.
Our enrichment activity program is designed to provide failure-free activities according to the ability of each resident. Our small homes enable our staff to create individual programs for each resident.
