About St Paul United Church of Christ
St Paul of Hermann, Missouri, is a member of the United Church of Christ, a progressive denomination with a deep and proud history in the United States.
The denomination is divided into conferences. We are part of the Missouri Mid-South conference which includes over 150 churches. Each conference is then divided into associations. We are a member of the Eastern Association.
The United Church of Christ practices congregational polity which means that most major decisions are made by individual churches rather than by higher authorities in the church. Our relationships with other UCC churches around the country and in other parts of the world are covenantal and based on mutual respect and trust.
