About Clean & Sober Living
The Surgeon General reported that, in 2016, one out of seven Americans will face the challenges of a substance use disorder, which shows up as a dependence on alcohol or other drugs. People who have been treated for their dependence on drugs or alcohol need a safe place to rebuild their lives, and thousands have discovered the supportive living environment at Clean & Sober Transitional Living (CSTL) in Fair Oaks. CSTL offers a safe, secure, supportive, and affordable sober living environment where residents can strengthen their recovery, learn how to prevent relapse, and build a strong foundation for a life free from drugs or alcohol. Here are some of the highlights of this powerful community:
Established in 1989, our 14 homes and 120-plus residents represent the oldest and largest transitional living community in Northern California. We have helped over 6000 people rebuild lives without drugs or alcohol as they make plans to return to their own homes, families, and jobs. CSTL has been certified by CCAPP since 1989.
Our residents come from all walks of life. Whether a Fortune 500 professional, a blue-collar employee, or a college student, our residents share the same goal: long-term freedom from drugs or alcohol.
We have designed our sober living environment to help residents rebuild lives, reclaim life skills, avoid relapse and learn how to live without drugs or alcohol all while living in a safe, affordable, and supportive community.
