About Greater Newark Convention & Visitors Bureau
Greater Newark Convention and Visitors Bureau (GNCVB) is the official destination marketing organization for the City of Newark, NJ. GNCVB is a private 501(c) (6) non-profit corporation, primarily funded by Newark's hotels through a Tourism Improvement District, committed to creating economic growth and increased employment in Newark.
GNCVB is charged with promoting and marketing the assets of the region, increasing the overall length of stay at area hotels, increase per capita spending in the tourism sector, as well as attracting new events, meetings, and conferences to the region. We drive economic growth through tourism.
