About Our Firm
Jim Turlington, Partner
James T. Turlington (Jim) is a Partner and one of the founding Members of Turlington, Reeves & Orlando, PLLC (TRO) a firm of two partners and fourteen staff. For over 31 years, his practice has focused on the Federal Income Taxation of Partnerships and S-Corporations of privately held businesses and their owners. For many clients, TRO prepares and files the personal income tax returns of partners and officers.
Jim began his career in 1988 as a new staff with Arthur Andersen LLP (Andersen) in Houston, Texas. Prior to starting his own firm in 1995, Jim was a Tax Manager with Andersen and was a member of the Real Estate, Oil & Gas, and Compensation & Benefits Services teams. While at Andersen, Jim advised and prepared the tax returns of large partnership clients including Gerald Hines Interests (a large Houston-based real estate investment and development company) and El Paso Energy partnerships.
