In the arena of life, there can be many challenges, yet there are also many opportunities to have victory over them and be a champion in life.
My name is Chanel "Shelly" Sheldon. I was born in
Soldotna, Alaska.
Natural beauty surrounded me growing up and led me into a career
in cosmetology, specializing in aesthetics and aromatherapy, and I eventually
also became a Licensed Massage Therapist.
The salmon run of my hometown always amazed visitors by the salmons ability to defy the odds and swim upstream. I guess they inspired me to do the same.
Similarly, my opportunities to swim against the current have strengthened me at every turn. We all have what we call "setbacks" in life, I am thankful that mine have created in me a compassionate heart and the extreme desire to help people feel good about themselves inside and out.
As a single mom that wanted the opportunity to stay home with my son, I started a soap business by combining uplifting essential oil blends with
soap formulations I created.
I will never forget the night, sitting in my bathtub with my son alongside splashing in the water. I had made my own little retreat and remember thinking, If I can make other people feel the joy I feel right now, I will have accomplished my goal.
My passions of Vintage Cowgirl Style, Team Roping and my skincare creations, collided and resulted in the birth of Cowgirl Legacy Bath & Body.
I want to be a tool to empower people to follow their dreams, no matter how many setbacks you come up against. While youre down there grabbing
your bootstraps, say a prayer, dig deep inside yourself, find your mission and how you can serve others.
Thats what really matters in the end.
