Indian Valley American Legion Post 568

The Legion Post was established in 1941 and currently has 66 members. Anyone that served from December 7, 1941, to the present and was Honorably Discharged can join. The post supports members and their families in time of need and has ongoing support for widows of Post Members. Before the fire, we provided community dinners and BINGO twice a month. Several yard sales to benefit Indian Valley a year. Supporter of Gold Doggers Day, annual car show, parades, and ceremonial funerals for Veterans that have passed.

Before the Dixie Fire, the Legion Post 568 provided community dinners and BINGO twice a month. They participated in several yard sales to benefit Indian Valley annually, as well as the Gold Diggers Classic Car Show. The Legion Post also starts the annual parades on the 4th of July and Veterans Day, and they attend ceremonial funerals for Veterans that have passed.
