About Communities In Schools of Spokane County
Our mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.
We connect resources to vulnerable students at targeted schools--this can be as basic as food security or as complex as placing them in a one-on-one relationship with a mentor.
By offering the right services to the right students at the right time, we are freeing up the teachers to do what they do best, teach! We also help set students up for college readiness classes.
