Welcome To

Windy's Winds

I, Windy, apprenticed from 1992 to 1994 with Lowell Taylor of Taylor’s Tubas on Phoenix Street in Flagstaff, AZ. When he moved I had the choice to become unemployed or self-employed so I started a business at age 19 using the DBA Windy’s Woodwinds in Flagstaff, AZ. In 1996 I graduated from the Band Instrument Repair program at Red Wing Technical College in Red Wing, MN; now known as Minnesota Southeast Technical College’s Red Wing Campus 1996.

DBA Windy’s Winds has operated in the following locations: Flagstaff, Arizona on S. Milton Road (1996-1999), then to my childhood home on N. Kendrick Street (1999-2002), Cedar City, UT (2002-2005), My family spent 2 years in Taiwan and I fixed 1 friends clarinet while we were overseas. We then moved to Cobre Street in Sahuarita, AZ (2007-2014) and I am currently located in Spanish Fork, UT. First on 1650 E (2014-2018) and currently in downtown SF on 100 N (2018-Current). The summer of 2022 marked 30 years I have been in the Band Instrument Repair Industry.
