About Illinois State Representative Dave Vella
As a Rockford native, my focus and energy have always been focused on giving back to the community that raised me. Since taking office, my priority has not been Springfield, it has been representing the Rockford area in Springfield, putting our amazing area back on the map at the Capitol.
In my short time in office, my office has returned nearly $1 million to residents through Illinois’ ICASH program. We have helped hundreds of residents navigate Illinois state programs like unemployment, FOID/CCL, and State Licensing services. In our work, we have had 95% of constituent cases be resolved with a favorable outcome. I have hosted nearly 200 events at local businesses, schools, community centers, and more.
It is important to me that my District office works with and for the Rockford region and its people. I take pride in what we have done so far, and I hope to continue to support and advance the 815 in a second term.
