Our building opened in 1900 as a General Store, hosting the local Post Office and Gas Station. Today, The Blackbird Inn is owned by Scott and Cheryl Duniphin. Having grown up in the area, Cheryl brought her husband to Plumas County where he too fell in love with the area. The Blackbird Inn re-opens its doors October 13, 2017 with the all new Ricochet Cafe, a food truck that came with them from Kentucky.
