About Tire Star of Wolcottville
Austin Miller opened Tire Star of Wolcottville in May 2011, when he was 21 years old. He opened for business in one of WOLF CO-OP’s buildings. At the time, he still worked for WOLF (a feed mill located in Wolcottville) part-time, managing the everyday operations there. During the first few months, Austin continued to work for Tire Star and Wolf CO-OP. But by the end of that year, Tire Star had gained enough business to allow him to work full time, and he was also able to hire a couple of technicians. Business continued in that building for three years.
In February 2015, Tire Star moved to its current location at 102 East Dutch Street in Wolcottville.
In January 2017, Tire Star acquired an existing auto repair shop in Ligonier.
In April 2019, Tire Star opened a shop in Kendallville.
In addition, Austin started Lakeland Towing & Recovery, which serves the northeast Indiana area.
