Ward's Dog Training was founded in February 2016.
Justin Ward is the CEO/Head Trainer at Ward's Dog Training and is a Certified Canine Training and Behavior Specialist. Justin has a bachelor's Degree in Business and studied at Starmark Dog Training Academy specializing in Obedience, Clicker, Behavior Modification Training, and more.
Justin has had a great love for dogs since day one, always having one by his side. He is an Eagle Scout and has earned all the Animal Merit Badges the Boy Scout Program had to offer.
He is married with two kids and enjoys teaching them how to care for animals with the same passion he has. He has helped hundreds of people with their dogs and volunteers at local shelters and rescues.
THE DOGS…
Sarge was a 12.5-year-old AKC Certified Golden Retriever that received his Canine Good Citizen Award. He was Justin’s first dog that he raised from a puppy and is what inspired his logo.
Hulk is a 7-year-old Boxer/Shephard mix. Hulk is the face and the Boss of the business. He had an accident in February 2022 paralyzing himself but has made a miraculous recovery and is back working again. He loves going to events and is trained in many things, including clicker tricks & coursework. Justin and Hulk met at Starmark when Hulk was in a shelter.
Copper is a 2.5yr Beagle who has taught Justin “Patience” in training, he has become a great companion to other dogs that are a little timid. He is being trained in Nosework to compete.
Red is a 2.5yr Golden Retriever. “Justin says a home is not complete without a Golden!” He has been a great addition also helping with the Socialization of other dogs and subbing for Hulk during his absence at events.
