About Warren County Historical Society

Warren County Historical Society's mission is to collect, preserve, and create interest in the cultural, political, and economic heritage of Warren County, Iowa. We are composed of the main building containing the Warren County Historical and Genealogical Library, a kitchen/dining area and two floors of exhibits. The Historical Village has a log cabin, Mt. Hope country school, pioneer church, South River Quaker Meeting House, George Washington Carver Museum, large machinery building and a general store.
