About The Hen House

The Hen House

Welcome to The Hen House 2 Vintage Chicks, a charming haven nestled in the heart of historic Kingman, Arizona. Established in 2022 by the dynamic duo of Lin Thompson and Teresa Wagner, The Hen House is a celebration of timeless craftsmanship and a tribute to the city's rich heritage. Located in a darling historic property in the original Old West downtown community, our shop embodies the spirit of Kingman with its classic car shows, retro neon signs, and an overall 1950s vibe that pays homage to the city's vibrant past, notably situated along the iconic Route 66.

Lin Thompson, a longtime resident of Kingman and an accomplished artist, has been imparting her passion for painting through classes at the local community college since 1974. Meanwhile, Teresa Wagner, with a history of showcasing her handmade creations at local craft shows and festivals since 1981, fulfilled her dream of opening a shop dedicated to handmade decor. From painting to sewing, scrapbooking, and crafting unique handmade items, both Lin and Teresa are committed to preserving the history of Kingman and sharing their love for down-home decor and folk art with friends, family, and customers alike. Step into The Hen House at 704 E Beale Street, and immerse yourself in the warmth of our shared passion for craftsmanship and community.
