About Barberton Area Community Ministries

Barberton Area Community Ministries began in 1997 as a combined community ministry to assist low-income individuals in Barberton and Norton. Since then, BACM has grown to serve over 4,700 people a year, providing food assistance and referrals to other programs and services. Our funding comes from local churches, individual donors, foundation & government grants, fundraising events, local businesses, and community groups. Additionally, in 2017, we received food donations from churches, community groups, local businesses, individuals and the City of Barberton valued at nearly $31,000.00.
