Plumas Rural Services, established in 1980, is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents in rural Northeastern California. Our mission is to empower and uplift communities through compassionate human services, ensuring individuals and families have access to essential resources and opportunities. We strive to promote health, education, prevention, and treatment, fostering independence, health, and self-sufficiency among those we serve.

Our comprehensive range of services includes support for families, counseling, community engagement, domestic violence assistance, and educational programs. We are committed to providing access to nutritious food, secure shelter, employment opportunities, social networks, and health services free from violence and substance abuse.
