Founded by Shana Benjamin, a veteran intelligence officer with over 15 years of experience in federal staffing, program management, and STEM workforce development, the organization leverages her extensive background, including leading national security operations at the Pentagon and spearheading Strategic Outreach STEM initiatives for Army Futures Command.

Our mission is to empower government entities, academic institutions, and industry leaders to collaboratively bridge the STEM talent gap, creating opportunities for tech workers. With a vision to serve 100,000 tech professionals by 2035, GovConnect Coalition specializes in strategic outreach and reskilling solutions tailored for career changers. Recognizing that 77% of global companies face talent shortages and anticipating 3.5 million unfilled STEM jobs by 2025, we are committed to developing tangible solutions that address these challenges.
