West Desert Airpark

West Desert Airpark is a grassroots aviation community where light aircraft are not only welcomed, but they are also the heart of the experience. Established to cultivate and celebrate a shared passion for aviation, the airpark provides a supportive environment for aviators to connect, fly, and grow together.

Founded in 2002 by Mark Pringle, the airpark began with just six hangars and a grass runway. Through Pringle’s vision and dedication, the facility steadily expanded to include 18 hangars, a welcoming clubhouse where aviators can gather and exchange stories, and eventually a paved runway to support continued growth.

Year after year, West Desert Airpark continues to evolve, bringing new opportunities and enhancements that strengthen the vibrant aviation community it serves.
