About Shandaken Historical Museum
Here at the Shandaken Historical Museum we preserve and enjoy sharing the history of the twelve hamlets that make up our town.
Our founder Nancy Thompson Smith collected our history for many years, opened the museum in 1989 for the education and enjoyment of others.
The Town of Shandaken runs the Shandaken Historical Museum, Kathleen is the Director\Historian for the town.
