Angel worked as a private criminal defense attorney for two years prior to starting her own firm in Maricopa, AZ. As a defense attorney, Angel fought hard for her clients and successfully litigated felony jury trials.

While practicing criminal defense, Angel became acutely aware of the injustices of the justice system. Angel vowed to always listen to her clients and never discredit their experiences. So many criminal defendants are bullied through the judicial process and dont have the ability to speak up for themselves when it really counts.

Throughout law school Angel never planned on working in this area of law, her passion was civil litigation and probate. Angel interned at a Phoenix-based probate law firm and assisted the Probate Lawyers Assistance Project prior to graduation. However, once she began practicing criminal defense she found her purpose and learned that she couldnt imagine a life without advocating for those in need.
