About Our Blood Institute

Our Blood Institute is a nonprofit blood center rooted in a nearly 50-year legacy of service that began in Oklahoma City and has grown to support communities across Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas. Evolving from a proud example of The Oklahoma Standard, the organization unified under the Our Blood Institute name to better reflect its expanding reach and shared mission. Today, it serves as a critical donor to the patient lifeline, ensuring reliable access to lifesaving blood products and providing confidence and continuity to hospitals, medical partners, and the patients they serve.

As the sixth largest independent blood center in the nation, Our Blood Institute operates 17 donor centers and supplies blood to more than 240 hospitals, medical facilities, and air ambulances across three states. It provides over 95 percent of Oklahoma’s blood supply, supports dozens of hospitals throughout Arkansas, and serves the Texoma and High Plains regions of Texas through its Wichita Falls operations and Coffee Memorial Blood Center in Amarillo. United by purpose and guided by compassion, our Blood Institute remains committed to meeting transfusion and healthcare needs wherever they are needed most.
