La Posada's history dates to the mid-1980s when the highly renowned Tucson Medical Center (TMC) began our award-winning, multi-faceted retirement community that today serves as a national model. In 1997, La Posada became an independent, stand-alone, not-for-profit community that is unique in Southern Arizona.

Our executive management team has guided La Posada since its inception, achieving prominent leadership roles in local, regional and national retirement-related organizations.
