About Valley Lumber

Valley Lumber opened its doors as an independently owned lumber company in 1978 in Basalt, Colorado. Over the following years, Valley Lumber expanded from its original location to include Rifle, Colorado and a rail reload in west Rifle. All of our locations are staffed by professionals with decades of experience in the lumber and building materials industry. We are locally owned and operated.

In addition to a broad spectrum of standard products, including dimensional & engineered lumber, millwork, hardware, and paint products, Valley Lumber gives our customers access to thousands of specialty items. Our reputation for professionalism and expertise in the industry has allowed Valley Lumber to build relationships with hundreds of manufacturers and distributors. Most products can be delivered within a few days.
