About Warren County Housing Authority

Warren County Housing Authority was established in June 1975 as the Low Rent Housing Agency of Warren County; the first Annual Contributions Contract for the Section 8 Existing Housing Assistance Program was signed in April of 1976. The official name has since been changed to Warren County Housing Authority (WCHA).

Our mission is to promote adequate and affordable housing, economic opportunity, and a suitable living environment free from discrimination, in Warren County, Iowa. We accomplish all of this through the Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers program.
