About Herschel Parts

Founded in 1887, by two brothers, Paul E and H. Robert Herschel. R. Herschel Manufacturing quickly became a leader in the sickle section industry.

For more than 130 years HERSCHEL has been an innovator in the cutting parts industry and introduced the chrome-plated section (1950), Tiger Jaw(1981) and Tiger Jaw 2000(1997) combine conversion kits, Super 7 sections (1992), and most recently the Tiger SharkTM section (2016). Cutting parts are designed to provide the agricultural industry with a high-quality product at an exceptional value. We are proud to still make our popular cutting products at our factory in Indianola, IA.

In 1995, Herschel Manufacturing decided to expand their tillage market and made the decision to purchase ADAMS Hard-Facing. Adams Hard-Facing was founded in 1927 by W.E. Adams and was known for long-wearing, high-quality hard-faced, and plain tillage tool parts. The addition of these unique and high-quality parts to this product line has enhanced our industry-leading position in tillage. We have proudly continued to make high-quality tillage tools like our Terminator Sweeps at our factory in Indianola, IA.
